But there’s attentive, then there’s sending me fifteen text messages in one day even though I don’t respond in between. Including picture messages of your house. Unfortunately Bachelor Number Fifteen is at the scary end of that spectrum. Which is quite strange considering it took him so long to actually ask me out. I was talking to Goose about this over the weekend. Well, actually I also spoke to Magic about it, but she told me there was no way I was allowed to go on a date with him, but I’d already booked one in for Tuesday. So I talked to Goose more whilst Magic was off “Getting caught up in conversation” with the Celebrity. And Goose and I agreed. It’s nice for a boy to be attentive, but the minute that there’s a hint of desperation mixed in there, he becomes completely unappealing. Completely. It’s such a fine line, and for different girls, the line could be anywhere along the spectrum. Makes it very difficult for boys to find the balance I guess. But hey, it’s definitely not easy being a girl either, so they’ll just have to cope. :) Anyway, we went for dinner at a Thai restaurant near his new house in New Farm. It started poorly, when he poured himself a glass of water and didn’t offer any to me. It’s such a minor thing, but first date manners should be best manners and if that’s the best he’s got I’m not particularly inspired! He spent the whole time talking about his job as a postman and where he wants to go in the company. And his favourite TV shows. And his favourite sports. Notice something? Yep, I think I contributed to only 10% of the conversation.
