3. On June 29, history was made at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) when a tandem adaptive paragliding flight launched from the top of Rendezvous Mountain. While JHMR has a long history with thousands of tandem flights taking off from the Bridger Gondola and Aerial Tram, never before had an adaptive flight launched from the steep mountainside. This launch was the result of a partnership between JHMR and Teton Adaptive Sports. The team, led by Joe Stone who works with Teton Adaptive, worked to bring the sport to Jackson Hole and let adaptive people experience paragliding for themselves.

5. JHMR offers a number of paragliding tours from both the top of Rendezvous Mountain and at the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram Station. Guests can take the 12 minute tram ride to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain and experience sweeping views and the perfect launching point for a range of adventures. Premier hiking trails, yoga, dining options including The Deck and Via Ferrata are all available at this world-class destination. But flying in a parachute is at the top of many visitors’ bucket list and the new tandem adaptive paragliding launch makes this dream accessible for all.
